The Gilbert Library is gearing up for the Spring 2010 session of Reading toJordy. Jordy, a Certified Therapy dog, is the Library's Readdog. "Jordyand I both have so much fun doing this," says Barb Buresh, Jordy'sMom/Owner. Children learning to read also have fun reading out loud asJordy quietly listens. Reading skills and social skills both improve as achild participates in a Readdog program. The Spring 2010 session will run for eight weeks: March 11 to April 29th. Participants come once a week,every Thursday evening. Four slots are available: 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m.,6:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. It's first come, first served, so the first tosign up will get the Spring 2010 slots.
