Free Tickets to local Museums and Events

Want to go to an upcoming concert or play but just didn't think you could afford it? Need to get the kids out of the house to something fun and free? Visit the Eveleth and Gilbert libraries and check out a FREE Museum Pass to get free tickets to a variety of local events and attractions. Yes, you check them out just like you check out books! You can have as many tickets as you want, but first come first served. Free tickets to the following events are currently available at the libraries:

Friday February 19 7:00 p.m. The children's play "Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing" at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids.

Sunday, March 7 the Duluth Symphany's "Lollipop Concert" at the DECC. Catch the FREE bus at the Eveleth Library @ 12:30 p.m., catch the bus at the Gilbert library @ 12:50 p.m. The Concert starts at 3:00 p.m. Return home to Gilbert on the bus by 6:45 p.m. and to Eveleth by 7:00 p.m. If you don't want to take the bus and want to drive down yourselves you can get tickets for the 3:00 concert only.

Friday March 12 7:30 p.m. The concert "Chatterton Duo" at the Virginia High School Auditorium.

Free tickets are also available to visit the following attractions any time you want: The Carlton County Historical Society, the Cook County Historical Society, the Duluth Depot, the Ely-Winton Historical Society, the Great Lakes Aquarium, the Judy Garland and Children's Museum, the North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum, Palkie Grist Mill in Esko, and Split Rock Lighthouse.

Take advantage of this great deal when you visit your hometown Eveleth or Gilbert libraries.
